I called the IRCC office today.
I received the following information:
Eligibility: Passed
Criminality and Security: In - progress
VO: Centralized Intake Office
My AOR is 25th October, and I am from India, living in India. I am FSW-O.
Since my Criminality and Security is in progress, does this mean that I have just passed R10 completeness check and my employment verification and Proof of funds etc are yet to be verified?
Is it a good idea to order the GCMS notes? @legalfalcon
Edit:
I read your blog post here: https://goo.gl/9si33j
According to the post, Criminality only starts after eligibility has passed, correct?
Do Centralized Intake Office pass eligibility as well or do they pass it to local visa office?
I also got rprf request without biometrics. I recieved it on 17th dec, paid the same day. Biometrics a day or 2 after that. Bil was 25th Nov but couldn't get an appointment for biometrics. Anyway its been close to a month now since I got the request but from what I've heard it could still take several months after rprf request. How did you get RPRF without biometrics? Congratulations, find a way to pay the RPRF & start getting ready to leave!!
Do you have any update on your application?Yep, my progress bar is also gone. I figured it's probably because it's inaccurate at the best of times, so removing it will stop IRCC from getting hammered with 93287645983764598273645 unecessary phone calls per day....
It isn't a curfew. More of a lockdown with all essential services open with some with reduced hours. I suppose IRCC is essential and will be kept open although operating at a lower capacity. Moreover, it also depends on where the VO is. If the VO is outside of Toronto there might not be any delays. My brother lives in Toronto. He informed me today that they have imposed curfew there. Not sure how it will effect our applications. I don't know if IRCC allows WFH but this sounds bad. In the sense that the sooner things get back to normal the better but it seems like we are regressing.
I see. Are all GCMS notes by IRCC getting delayed or some are still getting it on and near the timeline of 30 days?It is not that CBSA is faster or IRCC. Both, IRCC and CBSA process and release information under the Access to Information Act, and as per section 7 they have to provide this information within 30 days.
However, IRCC receives the the most number of requests under the Access to Information Act and due to the sheer volume and the COVID office closures and staffing issues, there are significant delays, as compared to CBSA, which receives far fewer requests.
yes same for meHey folks, anyone else's progress bar disappeared? It also used to show a message saying "you won't hear from us for a while", but that's gone too now.
CEC-Inland AOR Oct 16
I applied on 3rd December and emailed atip on 7th Jan. They said most of the notes were delayed due to high volume and covid. But they flagged my request as priority.I see. Are all GCMS notes by IRCC getting delayed or some are still getting it on and near the timeline of 30 days?
Congratulations, did you get an email for this change or you signed in and saw Not Applicable?I am happy to share that my eligibility is passed, too. Yesterday, additional document request changed from 'we are reviewing it' to 'Not applicable'. I thought that might be a sign for eligibility stage and yes, it was!
Actually, BGC status is a better indicator. What is yours?I am happy to share that my eligibility is passed, too. Yesterday, additional document request changed from 'we are reviewing it' to 'Not applicable'. I thought that might be a sign for eligibility stage and yes, it was!
