Hang in there.. most of us with applications received on Oct 21 just received AOR1 yesterday.
Thanks soo much you wish I could hug you truly, I'm a super anxious person that always second guesses everything I do so I'm here like I missed a box and it's going to be returned‍♀️. I truly thank you!!

Lol. I totally understand. You don't want to know the number of times I anxiously opened my mail box throughout the past 10 days expecting to see my package returned!

Hello :)
For sponsors living in Quebec, does the process get delayed till the CSQ is given?
Also, why are there many applicants from March/April/etc (specifically Quebec) that still haven't received a decision? :(

Update: application package has been sent to the Visa office in Mississauga on 11-26-2019 for further processing.

Is your PA Quebec applicant ?

My application was recieved on Oct 21, still no AOR. I am not able to see status from ECAS even :( Am I doing anything wrong while using ECAS? It is sponsor info we fill in, I guess . Please let me know your views .

Lucky you...Is Biometric and Medicals completed ?
Thanks! Medical and Bio are scheduled for next week- that’s the best I could do here in Silicon Valley... ;)

I was able to open the ECAS the day before the AOR1, when the recording appeared In progress.

Got the biometrics request and medical letters a few days after AOR1. Scheduling medical locally a pain but there it is.

Finally was able to get into GCKey - for whatever reason, still haven't been able to get ECAS. Is there any reason to try to get into ECAS if GCKey access working? Any information that would differ between them?

Another question or oddity: GCKey shows that PA and dependents have valid biometrics (from previous recent visits home) and biometrics section in GCKey shows "We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes." We are not going to cancel biometrics appointment and just go ahead, or at least as long as it's not going to make the process longer. (We already paid the biometrics fee to avoid any potential delays)

Other than that, all seems in order - says we do not need interview and no more documents needed (at this point). It also says "processing" background check, sure hope that's true, that seems like the biggest risk of delay.
