Nope nothing yet
I rang CIC and they said my application looks fine but they don't know why it hasn't been approved. So they sent a message to the Edmonton office asking about it, and now I need to wait another 30 days for an answer!

Its very disappointing that the call centre cant deal with the work permit directly and there is no way of speaking to the Edmonton office, and frustrating that people in mid November are already getting their work permits and ours are on hold. Just wish we could get answers on why.

Maybe you could try ringing as well and see what they say to you?

I already called 3 times and emailed a few times too and they all gave me the same answer of they have it but its still in process. I unfortunately don't think theres anything I could do but wait.

KuroNeko, my timeline is a bit behind yours, but I'm in the same boat for OWP. Application received 10/30 (backdated to 10/23 by CIC) and no status change in GC Key besides "In Process." So frustrating. Hang in there!

Hello guys,

I am PA from October 28th.I can’t login to my GCKEY to link the application. People on the forum said to make new GCKEY account if you lose one. But I’m not sure since my UCI is written on the application and it might clash with the new one if I make another GCKEY account?

Have you tried making a new GCKEY account using your sponsor's UCI? You'll still be able to see the status of your PR application, as well as the status of their sponsor application. That's what I did since we received my sponsor's (husband's) UCI before I received mine.

Haven’t try anything yet, I don’t want to mess with it so I just leave it like that. Does that affect the sponsorship application at cic though?
