How are people checking this application status?
I got an ITA on Sept. 18, Applied on Oct. 16, AOR - Oct. 17, Medical Passed - Oct. 22nd and Biometric completed - Nov. 1.
How to check status after this?

I have 04-OCT-2019 AOR(FSW-Inland), Medical Passed - 24-Oct-19. I raised Web form to check my status. PFB the same(SLA: 5 working days):
Background Verification - Not Initiated
Criminality - Not Initiated
Security - Not Initiated

Eligibility check - In Progress

Looks like mine may be stuck for quite some time

I really wouldn’t expect anything soon. I doubt we‘ll see anything until Feb/March. Just sit back and wait and try not to stress yourself out. What does your timeline say online? Mine says background is being processed and eligibility is under review.

Mine still says -> "Application in progress... We will send you a message when we start your background check." & eligibility under review + the below statement:
"You may not hear from us for a little while, this is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date."

Hi everyone! Is it an issue if I were to become a permanent resident (PR) of another country after AOR and before PPR?

I am working in South Korea right now, and before my work visa expires in a few months, my employer expects that I apply for a PR visa (because it lasts for 3 years, versus the work visa's 1-year validity). Because of this, I will probably get PR here by March at the latest. Of course I have not told them of my plans to move to Canada yet.

Will there be no issues to proceed with PR for South Korea? Will IRCC find this questionable and fail my Express Entry application?

Here's my timeline:
AOR: 19 Oct
MEP: 8 Nov
BIL: 18 Nov

My profile is showing- "Application in progress... We will send you a message when we start your background check." since 13th November. According to you how long can it take for the status to show- "we are processing your background check" from here? I know this really isn't fixed but what is your call in this if you can give some idea? thanks
