@savy92 and @tpraveen.acc Thanks for sharing! It's kinda sad that we don't have any clue, but it's somewhat comforting to know I'm not alone in this. :) I hope we get any update soon!
I'm Oct 21 AOR, FSW-O from the USA.
I called 2 weeks ago, and my security check was in progress. I've heard no update since. Still within the 6 month window, so I don't think there's anything to get too alarmed with at this point ...

I agree with you. Please check the Nov-2019 AOR or any later forums on this website.. So many ppr's have already been issued.

People spread rumors like saying cic clears the files on basis of AOR dates. But that doesn't add up. What I have observed is that cic has a set of sequential rules which stay the same for all applicants.

For some applicants some checks take time. For instance in my case I went to 2 European countries to work in last 5 years.
I went to US 4 times for flagpolling. May be verifications for these things are taking time for me, or something else similar to this.

There is no guarantee that we all will get pr, but we must have hope. keep praying.

Also calling cic is a waste of our time and their resources. call centre agent has rarely provided any valuable information except to tell you the status.

Best bet is to apply for gcms and hope to find what they are stuck at and may be send some information to them which can speed up things. my 2 cents.

By the way my aor date is 02-Oct-2019.
I hope I don't annoy anyone.

Hi All,

Post AOR in Jan 2020, I had renewed my passport and raised a web form to inform about the same. I got a confirmation from them that they had forwarded my new passport documents to the agent in charge.
I received the ppr email on 9th March 2020 but it doesn’t explicitly mention which passport I need to send.
I would really like to get the visa stamped on the new one as my medicals is expiring after old passport date

which passport should I send?

P.S - I have a dependent who also has the same situation.

thank you in advance
I sent both, pin it and send. They will take care of the rest.

Usually when you renew a passport, your old one gets cancelled by your country. With that your old one should be stamped a cancelled stamp or something similar. Only your newest passport should be vaild (though the visas you have on your old passports might be valid). I'm speaking based on my own experience though, and for your country it might be different.
In any case if you issued a webform with the new passports, I'd send them the new passport.
Thank you

You can call IRCC through TextNow App and check for the reason for GU and also enquire about your VO.

In my application I had mentioned Regina, Saskatchewan as my destination/intended city in the province.
If anyone is planning to or already on the way to go to Saskatchewan province OR Regina city please reply back.

Also in max how much time do we have to go to our destination city after VISA is stamped?
