Guys I checked my ecas today and under sponsorship it says decision made.. What's that mean ? And how long do I have to wait for SA?

I’m confused why they keep telling me before Oct 9 when other people have received their AOR. Maybe the others received letters from Mississauga?

Coz they din update the progress from oct 9..they r giving aor for dec applicants..but the call centre agents can tell only whats showing on the system..its not accurate

Wow, that's strange!
The spreadsheets show almost all of Nov. and half the Dec. applicants have their AOR's.
I guess they are not working on those beyond Oct. 9th yet?

The Sydney office is still processing files received before Oct 9th.
And all the applications received after were sent to mississauga to process their AORs.
That is why people who applied in November received their AOR1 before us.

January 18. she did it January 25th and it said passed on Ecas Febuary 6th.

Howdy October fellows,

I have been reading about your stories and I am glad to know that we are not alone. Although, I must admit that things have been moving quite fast after they emailed us our AOR.

We just received the following email saying "This message is being sent to confirm that the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to the visa office in Paris for further processing." and I am completely thrown off in regards of the meaning of this.

Please know that my husband (sponsor) and I are living outside of Canada, in Romania to be more specific.

Also, if anyone can help me with the following things that I found on the spreadsheet that I don't quite understand:
- ECAS PRAS - I know that eCAS is the e-Client Application Status but for us, the tool doesn't find the application.
- AOR2 (are we supposed to receive another one of this?)

I'm under the impression that you've just had your file transferred to your local VO. AOR2 is sent when Paris confirm they've received it and have begun processing it. So in this instance, you have not actually got AOR2 yet.

On the tracker, ECAS-PRAS is the status on ECAS. Most put down the date it states they began processing the file.

Its not by email. its on Cic website. not on Ecas.
