Yes. If they need anything else they'll ask for it.Does an AOR indicate that the main documents required for processing are complete?
This is what it says on one of our letters.I am wondering if someone would be so generous as to provide me with advice in regards to our little situation here.
The medicals are required to be completed within 30 days. As soon as we had received notice of the medicals we immediately kicked into action. This included immediately buying plane tickets, paying for shots, examinations, etc, all in all costing 1000+ dollars, which is beyond affordable.
Now we are 18 days into this, out of the 30 days, and we have to have my spouse fly out yet again to have another X-ray done for a family member, at request of the embassy.
She is having to drag along sometimes uncooperative children to these appointments that are hosted in another part of her country.
The inefficiencies of her country may also be at play.
To make a long story short, I'm getting a bit concerned. I decided that if the medicals were not completed by February 1st that I would send a letter of explanation to the CIC officers to explain the potential for delay. February 1st would allow the letter a week to travel through the mail and get to the officers, before the 30 days were complete.
Is this plan prudent?
Much thanks.
Thanks.. We got AOR last Jan 16 but after that no update yetGckey
This was very helpful for me today and saved me a trip to the post office. Thank you. This is what it says on one of our letters.

I was oct 26th applicant. I was given my temp file # nov 17th. dec 20th I called and was told "theres no notes that its coming back or anything....".I called IRCC for 3rd time in 3 weeks and yet they said they are processing applications received by 9OCT2018. On a positive note, they provided temporary file number and the agent mentioned if you have a temporary file number that means your application is not missing anything and it is in queue for processing.
Temporary number is not a guarantee it just means they have opened your app. If they deem it incomplete it can still come back. I've seen this many times in the WhatsApp groupsI called IRCC for 3rd time in 3 weeks and yet they said they are processing applications received by 9OCT2018. On a positive note, they provided temporary file number and the agent mentioned if you have a temporary file number that means your application is not missing anything and it is in queue for processing.
Sorry to hear that. That's awful. I think IRCC should let their agent know about temporary file number. The agent was so confident that I bought it.I was oct 26th applicant. I was given my temp file # nov 17th. dec 20th I called and was told "theres no notes that its coming back or anything....".
My app was returned Jan 9th.
There is a backlog in Sydney office. Many applicants whom files have been received before 20 Oct 2018 are still waiting for AOR (Based on my understanding of stat people shared here). Seemingly, applications received after 20 Oct were directed to Mississauga Office to share the workload.Hi ...my outland spousal paper was submitted on october 11 2018 in novascotia and till todate no response...when called ircc they said they cant find application anywhere with our shipment dwtails but said it might be with case officer..
Is this long delay normal ?
Is anyone in same boat ?
