yes , but beware after review some files if they feel doubts are sent to vo in the middle, however all files end up at VOs too. if no probs your total will be very less say weeks rather than months.

Yes, well I got the SA letter like a week ago. I sent the provincial app and we haven’t received the MED request yet. On the BGC line it says “we’re processing...” I don’t know if this is a mistake or if they’re doing things differently

Why was my wifes application forwarded to Mississauga? Anybody knows?

Mine was forwarded there as well. I don’t think this is necessarily a bad thing, but Im not sure.

I got AOR Jan 10, and in ECAS it says we started processing application on January 7, 2019. Usually how long until Sponsor Approval? also in GCKEY it says We are processing your background check. thanks

Finally we got AOR today..sent it last Oct 28.. Can somebody tell me whats next after?

Now they will request medical report from you within one month

Someone posted yesterday they spoke with the CIC agent and Sydney office was working on Oct 9th applications.
They are backlogged at that location and for whatever specific reasons many applications have been transferred to
Mississauga for " faster processing ". Remember the overall processing time is 12 months.
We all want to be together with our families.

NO MATTER how much you call them ; most agents would remind you of ONE year total processing time. And they are trained for it. They are helpful in finding few things but again all are not equal ; some can dig deep others are not so cool.I mean they won't talk too much laugh or anything..but serious, some are laughing if U make a joke.
