I’m not on the spreadsheet but I sent my application by courier, I believe received by October 4th and just received my AOR today.
Congratulations!! Your PA country please?

Got mine by email. My wife is from the Philippines. I sent the Outland application from inside Canada, though I doubt it made any difference.

Hi
I knew my application reached and received in Sydney on the 3rd of October 2018.

but I HAVE NOT received any response from them ...

I've been quite nervous whether my application will be processed ...

Is there anyone who applied around the same time and has't received reply from CIC yet...?
Only 2 months, there are ppl waiting for any thing at all over 120 days. But dont wanna discourage you,, U have the RIGHT to call IRCC and find out what happened to application! However it takes 60 to 100 days now may be faster. 1 more ting plz try to go to ecas on google or ask me a link then put your payment receipt no. and sponsor's data , let me know if U were able to login...Thanks

As far as I know, there are at least 7 people from the October group who got AORs this week. All PA's from India, correspondence from Mississauga. Received dates from October 1-11.

Regards,

Manpreet
Aren’t the outland supposed to send to Nova Scotia? Why did these people get correspondence from Mississauga. I am outland and sent my application to Nova Scotia did I send to the right place?

I (the Sponsor) got an email today, Dec 7, which I believe is AOR? It has the UCI and Application number.
Correspondence is from CPC Mississauga

Application received by CPC Sydney: October 12

PA is from the Philippines

I also checked online and it says “We started processing your application on December 6, 2018.”

Hoping that everyone here will receive great news before Christmas

Does anyone know if it is possible to change your application from Outland to Inland?

Due to unforeseen circumstances my wife is already in Canada on a V1 visa.

We hadn’t planned to come to Canada so soon but life intervened.

My wife is also from the Philippines. We sent our application from Manila and our application was received on October 1st and just yesterday CIC sent us an email with our new UCI# and Application# and so we logged onto the Canadian Immigration site and see that our application as of December 6th is now in process.

Skippity Do Da!!!

I did a quick search on this forum and here is a response from a VIP MEMBER to another person in a similar situation as yourself.

Definitely check with CIC about it though. Let me know what you find out as I may get my wife a visa for Canada as I would rather be there right now so we can get set up quicker and not wait here in the Philippines killing time waiting for CIC approval.

I’ll look into that.

The Visitor Visa was actually really easy to get. My wife already had several other visas and was an OFW for many years, so that must have been a factor.

Took about 2 weeks to get it after applying online. Only hassle was the Manila visa office not calling to tell us it was ready.

Did your wife get a TRV? Does it ask in the application how much time you want to spend in Canada or is it an automatic 6 month visitors visa? I am sure her being an OFW helped in her application.

I saw some youtube videos today of other Canadians who applied with the OUTLAND PR application and by the time they got their AOR1 they applied for a TRV (good for 6 months with the possibility of applying to get an extension on that visa if the PR application hasn't been approved yet) so their wife can live with them in Canada during the whole PR application processing time until they get approved. I think this is the route we are going to go as I don't want to arrive in northern Canada just before winter (website says currently a 12 month process for applicants) but around spring of next year.

My wife has a passport but has never been outside of the Philippines. I have heard it is all on the applicant where they need a house or money in the bank. If that is the case I am sure I can help with the latter but I think if we have a PR application in process and we should have our Sponsorship Approval before we apply for a TRV next March and just explain our situation then that should help getting a TRV approval but I am still checking into it.
