i would like to ask if the document was returned and re-sent to cic, do they process the application as urgent?? . I saw some application on this thread as noted as "urgent" or fast forward? not sure where do they base that??

Short answer is NO. Urgent processing is for exceptional circumstances as mentioned on IRCC website:

“To apply for urgent processing, you must be eligible to apply for citizenship and have an emergency, such as:

• needing Canadian citizenship to:
  • apply for a job
  • avoid losing your job
  • go to a Canadian school, college or university
• needing to travel because of death or serious illness in your family and you can’t get a passport in your current nationality
• receiving a successful Federal Court decision on an appeal on a previous application for citizenship”

I have resubmitted my app today and requested that they treat my application as urgent based on the fact that I need to move home by end of May (have a flight booked). My travel doc dates stacked up which seems like an admin on their end however, I did not explain why i did not include a passport I had to surrender on renewal nor did I provide proof of english celpip (assumed incorrectly they would have this on file from my PR app). Not sure they will fastback to urgent but worth a try.

Has anybody else had any experiences they can share on a request for urgent processing of a returned application?

When you say ''letter is fair'' - what do you mean? I guess I am going to have to fly back to canada for the test and ceremony att his stage. Resubmitted the app today but my flight to leave Canada is 31st May. So frustrating :-(

When u say you want to move out this does not constitute to urgency as you xan travel on ur home country pssport. They consider urgent when someone is unable to obtain a passport of his/her hone country and needs to travel soon
