Now I know my next update will only be on October 16th when my medicals expire I can be better prepared now

No way you'll get it much sooner! My AOR is mid Oct but I did my medical on Aug 1st, that's why I got this update. Let's hope we all get our golden emails within the next few weeks

Just heard back from Ralph's office.The status given by his office does not match with the status given by IRCC call agentHas anyone been in similar situation where the status by IRCC call agents did not match the status provided by Ralph's office?


Status as per MP Ralph's Office:
Criminality: pass.
Eligibility: requires review.
Security checks :have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.
Medicals: are valid until Sept 30/19.

Status as per IRCC customer care ( had called them twice, 2 different agents confirmed the following):
Criminality:Not started
Eligibility :Under process
Security:Pass
Medicals:Pass

Webform query status:

"Your application is awaiting the review of an officer.Notification will be sent in due course"


Which one to believe?Have ordered GCMS notes.Waiting for them.Is our Eligibility under RR or is in queue for usual review by a VO.What do you guys think?

thanks!and does 'Requires Review' for Eligibility translate as RR or is it 'awaiting review by Vo (as mentioned in the webform)? or are these the same thing?

Ralph Office is always correct!!

There is no way your Security is Pass while your Criminality is Not Started and Eligibility in Progress.

@SithLord if you don't mind elaborating..whats the difference between 'Security' & 'Criminality' ? Document wise? Do Police certificates fall under 'Security' or 'Criminality'?

PCC is Criminality. Security checks are done by Canadian agencies.

all looks good to me, you already crossed the biggest hurdle that is eligibility...you will get ppr sooner a later even if your security is in SS (comprehensive check) nothing to worry about

Hi all, my long wait for PPR! I received my golden email today at 1:37PM PST!
My AOR was Oct 12th
MED passed Nov 11th
File transfered 3 times only to be sent back to OTTAWA my original visa office.
My file was last touched in Nov and got 2 ghost updates on the June 29th and July 2nd
I am a CEC Inland
I was under RR for work experience which I found out from my gcms notes which I recieved June 12th. I then submitted additional docs and loe to clarify what the analyst had concerns about. I never got an ADR request. I was about to order 2nd gcms notes and the golden email arrived before I did! Now to start the next leg sending passport in tomorrow to get the visa.

To everyone else waiting all the best and and thank you so much for keeping my anxiety about being forced to leave at bay. If you studied part time whilst on you pgwp and held a valid study permit feel free to ask to find out what additional docs I sent to verify I studied part time so my work experience points did not get cut.

P. S. If they had subtracted my work experience I was going to be below cut off point for the draw I was in and could have been rejected. Phew everything came together in the end!

We are in the same boat as you. We have a recommended pass for eligibility and on gcms notes it’s says RR. How long did they take to acknowledge the additional documents that’s you’ve submitted? We got an email after 7 days to confirm that they received the document and that it has been forwarded to the relevant office. Also was your security not started when you got your first set of notes? Thank you

How do you find out about ghost update. We went through an agency and just want to know ignorance our agent will be notified that our profile has been updated or do you have to log in regularly to see the ghost updates.
