Hello all,

I received my PPR yesterday finally after almost 8 months.

Here is my timeline:
FSW-Outland (Costa Rica)
ITA: Sep 5th 2018
AOR: Oct 1st 2018
MEP: Oct 29th 2018
IP2: May 23rd 2019
PPR: May 24th. 2019
Total of 235 days from AOR to PPR

No ADRs or Review required. Eligibility was met since Nov 13th and then no updates at all until May 23rd when it was moved to IP2.
I requested GCMS notes twice, once on March 18th and received them on Apr 24th and second on May 6th which I have not received yet.

Thanks to everyone for the support and hope all of you get your application approved very soon!
Congratulations! Wishing you all the best on your Canadian journey. :)

Hi folks,
Is there anybody here whose eligibility portion has been flagged as review required? My AOR was Oct 4th and i just realized (through my local Member of Parliamant) that my eligibility is flagged as review required!
RR is a normal mark.
It happens when the case processing agent wants the immigration officer to cross check the documents
Reasons can be POF - except from Cash, Doubt on reference letter etc.
So nothing to worry

DId you raise a complaint?
No i just sent them two emails with my tracking number and no answer i got an automated answer saying i need to wait for 30 days i dont know whats going on because i got my first gcms nots in march within 30 days now its ridiculous

Try calling them,

I have gone through the Aug and Sep forum and the general trend now is 11 months and not 6 months.
Also GCMS notes will be late as the number of people applying it has increased drastically.
When I did by WES 3 years ago it was done in 1 month but the current timeline for WES itself is 6 months.
So the overall system is slow due to the load and backlogs.
so we need to be patient and send GCMS notes to keep them aware that we are waiting for their decision.

Thank you for your reply. I’ve done some research and found in most cases the reason of RR somehow was related to letter of work experience. So, i was wondering what will hapen in thise cases

When RR is marked, the immigration officer looks at it to cross-check, if he finds a doubt he will send an ADR request.
If you think that the reference letter submitted was according to the guidelines of IRCC you need not worry.

Hello,

Has anyone opted for any pre-arrival services? There are many services available on IRCC website and is there one which is favored by most applicants?

Also, I tried creating a profile in Job Seeker (using EE profile number and Job Seeker validation code) but received an error that says either the EE number or Job Seeker code are invalid (which they aren't). Any ideas?

Same here got enquiry done by local MP and came to know my file is flagged on 22st March as eligibility is review required. My AOR is 6 oct. Now i have ordered gcms notes for the first time.

Hi all,

I applied in Oct 2, and after long wait I finally got PPR.
In the VFS global site, it is written that biomatrics are required. But in profile sections it is written that it's not.

I thought it's exempted for those who applied before 31st Dec 2018. Or is it all who are getting PPR in 2019?

Do anyone have concrete idea??
Thanks

Could you share your timeline, please? I have the same AOR as you and I'm still in IP1.

Well I don't remember exactly, but..
2-oct: AOR
~25- Oct: medical passed
~10-12 Nov: 3 or 4 movement from bg check ongoing and not required
14 Nov: ADR (silly declaration in PoF). Submitted on 16th Nov.

Pin drop silence since then. Eligibility check ongoing, BG check not started.

13 may: background check ongoing.
14 may: PPR in (wife's spam folder ;p)

So it's like 7.5 months

Well, that’s the point. I worked for two companies and one of them didn’t accept to reflect my duties in the letter. So, i’m afraid the reason of RR in my case is my letter of work experience and unfortunatelly i can’t fix it because like i said my company didn’t accept to reflect my duties
