Hey everyone,

Just to keep you updated, as you know I phoned the IRCC last week to ask about my app. I was advised that it was approved on 9 March, but no PPR.

I emailed them using the web form and today got a response staying that my application had been approved. Therefore it is in writing. Still no PPR but it means it's confirmed.

Very happy.
Will keep you all updated when the PPR is received but this might help anyone who is in limbo!

AOR 7th Oct, still stuck in IP1. No update since 7th Nov.
FSW India.
Called CIC many times and they have the same reply.. background check has not started yet. With 19 days left for 6months timeline this is getting very scary and I gave no idea how long they will take.
Which stream and country are you from?
Do you know your VO? Is it Montreal? If Yes, then its normal as they are still processing Aug AOR's..

@fawn check June thread, someone got their file approved since November, emailed them last week or so, called again and got a landing interview today. I think the interview might be because he's/she's CEC.

You could call to keep reminding them or raise a CSE about your approved file so they could send you the PPR or you could wait so they send ours together

Ok, I will check the thread, thanks! I raised a CSE already today. Waiting for a reply back. I will give them a call by the end of the week if no update then.

Haha you are so funny about them sending our PPR together. Maybe we can send it to VFS for submission at the same time and also travel to Canada together. How cool?

CEC inland was supposed to be a fast stream this year.

I would guess that the Calgary office is average in terms of processing time (not too fast nor too slow) since the don't seem to have any big reputation.

Do you know if your application has been sitting in Calgary or has been transferred there? The transfer date usually matters.

Places like Montreal usually issue PPR 5.5-6 months after the file is transferred to them. So transfer date can be important. But unfortunately there isn't too much of a sample size for calgary visa office.

Have you looked into calgary folks at myimmitracker? That might shed some light.

13 days remaining, still in IP1 and no update yet. I wonder when they will pick up my file. :( :( I am starting to get really worried.
