The steps don't seem to be straightforward ip1 -> na -> ip2 -> na -> ppr.
I submitted early October, went through all those stages in the background check incl. medical passed and biometrics up to ip2. This morning woke up to an email only to find a "How to find a job in Canada" in my account, the exact same document that was uploaded when I first entered the pool and the background status has gone back to "We will let you know when we start your background check"

I got ITA on Oct 15th and submitted my file on Oct 23rd and got AOR. I have married on Nov 9th, now i want to add my wife in the application. My question was if I add my wife as accompany to my file will my score be recalculated? Please let me know.

Thanks for reply. Do you know any one whose score is not recalculated once they add their spouse in their file or Do you have any link if so can you share it . My consultant is saying that the score will be reduced if i add my spouse in the file.

I don't know anyone but it is clearly mentioned on CIC's website.

If, however, an applicant marries after they submit their e-APR, then informs IRCC of the marriage, the marriage cannot be taken into account as part of the section A11.2 assessment. However, the change in circumstance may affect whether the applicant still meets the program requirements.

It won't affect your CRS score but you are likely to get an ADR for additional POF to cater for her. Congratulations and happy married life.

My account Application updated for approved Nov 20
Waiting for my passport

I am in shock as well, I literally dropped my jaw. Inland applicant, CEC, with a spouse. Prepared all documents in advance.

My Status is medical passed
I have got an ADR for schedule A IMM5669
In message section I have got 2 new messages. One for IMM5669 which is understandable. Second one is for my son's medical, saying I need to get medical done in 30 days. I think this is a glitch, the letter is dated 19th and I passed MEP on 20th

I suggest you to raise a CSE and send them again your son´s Information Sheet. He is only two yrs old, only physical examination is required.

Guess what, I finally talked to an agent after an hour and 33 minutes wait time, and you are right, it was a technical glitch. The message in my account was generated in error. WHEW!!! and to my relief I just said thank you and was not able to ask about the status of my background check. But I think it was not necessary. Just have to patiently wait again for the next steps.

Post AOR, score is not calculated, your CRS score is freezed, you should inform CIC immediately of the change (about your marriage). If you don't update CIC and later on wish to sponsor your wife, you won't be able to do that.

My Aor is 20 october i received an email today for my profile update when log in i found my UCI changed and my backgroundcheck goes from not applicable to we are processing but no change in medical anyone knows whats going on? And can background change before medical?

Don´t worry. It happens. My UCI and background status wer updated on November 5, and I am still waiting for MEP. My AOR is Oct 6.

• Review of eligibility - We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
• Review of medical results - You passed the medical exam.
• Review of additional documents - We do not need additional documents.
• Interview - You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
• Biometrics - We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
• Background check - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
• Final decision - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made

I must confess: I'm relieved! hahah
