My Medical validity expired on 9th Oct 2019 the status now says you do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.
I haven’t received a re-med request. A little worried. Does anyone know what this could mean ?
I am in the same situation. AOR 13th Oct. Eligibility has been "Review Required." You will need to wait for IRCC to request for a re-med. They will issue it when they are ready to issue the PPR to you. Your medical exam could be extended or you may to re-take it (depends on the visa officer). If GCMS notes did not mention anything unusual, then all you can do is wait it out!

Guys, I can't believe I'm writing it... PPR!

Thanks everyone for the support during this looooong year!

Timeline:
03.10.2018 - ITA
30.10.2018 - AOR
29.11.2018 - med passed, biometrics requested
04.12.2018 - biometrics passed
06.04.2019 - eligibility passed
08.04.2019 - comprehensive security screening started
26.09.2019 - ghost update (probably security screening finished)
27.09.2019 - re-med request
30.09.2019 - exam taken
10.10.2019 - med passed
11.10.2019 - (still can't believe) PPR

I thought about what I'd write at this moment, but I'm simply out of words. My little son woke up in the middle of the night, and I had to take a look at the phone to know the time - and suddenly saw "ready for visa" title. So everybody's right: it comes when you do not expect it, 100%. Don't know how to sleep now :D

P.S. let it be #pprchallenge :)
I pass the challenge to @SithLord and @Priya0227 - you're next guys! :D
Woohoo, congrats man. We took our re-med exam the same day, mine was passed on 6 oct.
Seeing you get the PPR fills me up with hope.

In my case, no idea what's taking ircc so much time to review my medicals. Y medicals were still valid, but status changed to - reviewing...... They have not asked for any re medicals
It's already 27 days..... Still under review

Still waiting.......

Still nothing for me, AOR 20th October.

I just wish there was a maximum time limit where they could at least give you a more definitive update of whether it’s worth holding out for or not. I can’t plan anything with my life and my fiancé is a Canadian citizen waiting for me.

It’s so frustrating when the issue holding up my application shouldn’t be a problem but you can’t just speak directly to an agent to tell them that.

Finally some movement! We got an ADR dated September 25 and we have until October 2 to respond. However, we are out of the country and we will only be back on October 7th. They need updated Proof of funds for the past 6 months, additional employment records from one of my employers and additional proof of sibling residency. I have submitted a web form requesting an extension for submission deadline explaining or circumstance. I just hope they see this webform request. Has anyone here requested an extension for ADR submission? Do they grant extensions?? I cant get though to anyone on the phone lines. Is there any way to call them now from outside Canada?

Thankfully, our submission deadline got extended to October 16th. We submitted the additional docs on the 14th, but I believe that it is Thanksgiving in Canada. Status says submitted on the profile.

Me too quit job after finish the contract period since the new job contract will hold me another 2 years... Now waiting continues without knowing how long. There should be a time limit as we all are going to cross 1 year in a couple of weeks.

Questions for those who've got their PPR already. Usually you have to do the landing before the medicals expire. I wanted to know how much time they give you to do the landing if the medicals have expired and they have not asked to do a re-medical?

Our medicals have expired and the current status says "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes." Does this mean that our medical has been extended or is there a possibility of being requested for a re-medical? Once you do the re-medical, is it valid for another year?

It doesn't mean you medical has extended. If extended it will show next expiry date and it would be for a year.
