I had put up a mail to them in august, they are yet to reply on it ... it was just a status enquiry

Am not sure in this case. My friend never got reply, but got PPR mail

I saw a ghost update today. They added my spouse's details under the section 'View Dependents'. I was told not to take medicals unless they request for it. Should I be expecting it now?

No they didn’t extend it but I did get a remedical request. I do agree that it is great news

Buy the way, did your med status remain "we have requested a medical exam" till you passed it?

I just called to the clinic regarding my exam, and they said "we've sent the resutls to IRCC today". However, the status in my profile remains "we have requested...". Is it gonna change to "we're reviewing ..." or right to the "you passed ..."?

If the medical department already uploaded ur medicals, ircc will make the decision soon..... Waiting.... For u to announce ur golden email soon

I know it's not a great thing to hear, but medical expiry triggers updates on your file - so many people have received their PPR at this time.
Just continue to be hopeful!!

Not sure about Medical extension.
Waiting for response where to send required documents if mailing address is outside Canada or USA.

I want to thank members of this Forum for their support.

My husband and I got married abroad in august and came back to our home country but I still live in my hometown for the moment, while he lives in his. Will CIC question the fact that our address history is not common after the wedding ceremony date? If so, should we write an LoE explaining the reason why we dont live together? Please help, I am worried to mess things up due to such small details.

Yeah they might ask.
But as suggested earlier it might take time for them to ask for medicals which might delay your process. Thats the reason many people do upfront medicals

Finally golden email received today stating that ready to issue Visa.
My timeline is follows.
AOR 18th Oct 2018 with LOE for non availability of PCC.
Medicals passed Nov 21, 2018
ADR for PCC and got extension of 60 days.
Submitted PCC on Dec 15, 2018
Medicals expired on Sep 01, 2019
Sep 09 2019 got another ADR for same PCC.
Same PCC submitted with another LOE.
Got remedical request and submitted on 2 OCT 2019.
Today visa email..
I thank everyone for supporting and shared their info and updates..
Which gave huge relief from stress.
I wish everyone will get PPR soon.
I was trying to get PR for last 4 years... started from 2015 and finally coming to an end.
