not that it matters, but I am struggling to find the phase I am in at this moment. a lot of contradictory information in the forum and on other web sites. this is what my application looks like in my profile

anyone please?
thank you
There are no concrete phases as IRCC officers can randomly process any part of your application at any given time. Ignore all those made up terms such as IP1,etc, and patiently wait for updates in your account.

I must bring my passport. :)
I heard that we can send a copy of passport instead of original, right? (Maybe it depends on the country of origin).
In that case, can my spouse send a copy of passport on behalf of me?
That is only if you’re a US citizen. Once they send PPR request, you can email them that you need more time to submit your passport. They extend the 30-day deadline.

I hope so, but I guess I'm not. I am AoR October 31st and my stream is PNP-Outland, which to my information is the one that takes longer to be processed.
Ignore all IP1 IP2 etc made up terms.
They hold no ground and cause more confusion than guidance, especially with the new biometrics requirements.
Maybe they used to be relevant when APR was paper based and files physically opened and processed.
But now, everything is moved electronically, and some people don't see any update at all until they get PPR.

Expect PPR 3-6 months after AOR on average.

I totally agree with Peacekeeper87! I was trying to extrapolate forum information about EE stages on my special situation with medical exam. I had all signs of IP2 with incomplete MEP and thought that I'm almost done with BG. Few days ago I received RPRF request and now BG changed to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." :)
So everybody should keep calm and stop dreaming about getting PPR in 30 days. Only CIC knows when you'll get your PPR ;)
