Thank you for the positivity. I last called the CIC on Monday and couldn't see much changes.

Most important thing.. agents on call don’t have updated information.. they only read what’s available in notes section similar to GCMS notes..

Case officers keep working on our files in background .. that’s why some people gets PPR directly from IP1..

Got our PPR today .yayayaya after a long n patient wait.
I have been following this forum very religiously and it was really helpful and kept me hopeful n positive. Thank you guys.
Below is my timeline.

AOR 20th Oct 2018
MEP 19th Nov 2018
FSWO
Country of residence and application - India
Family of 2
IP2 19th March 2019
No idea about first ghost update.
PPR MAIL 5th apr 2019 7.19 am (IST) dated 4th April 2019

Ordered GCMS notes on 12th Feb received on 13th March. Nothing was started.
Called CIC twice, first time they just said everything is in progress on 15th March.
Again called on 20th march they said eligiblity- recommended pass, security--not started, criminality--passed.

Post that no update before PPR mail.

Directly got the PPR mail in Inbox and when I checked my account it said that the "application has been updated"

Guys hang in there and be positive, hopefully all Oct applications will be cleared this month.

Glad to report the Passport Request Email -- Ready for Visa / Prêt pour Visa.

The Background status change had come along this morning after 5 months of no updates, and the passport request has followed at 2:30 PM Melbourne Time.

I was skeptical about processing of applications where the country of origin differed from country of residence, but I guess that does not delay things.

Background checks started: April 5 (April 4 GMT-4)
Passport Request: April 5 (April 4 GMT-4)
NOC: 5123
Country: India (Origin), Australia (Residence)

You gave us some hope. AOR 01 Oct. Still in IP1 tho

Have you filed your case on your own or through representative ? Because this question is lil surprising if you have applied through express entry ..

But still for your knowledge.. it’s the main occupation code under which your profession or work experience is covered .. you can find it on CIC website..

Just that its been 6 months now that I filed. Memory is fading I guess.

I'm in IP2 since 8th March but no news yet. No ghost update no PPR. Profile says 7 days left.
