I am not a 100% sure but I think you field got approved first by a "smaller" agent and the actual officer is cheking it. I am not sure of the terms. But, on the phone, someone explain me ones our field are approved, they often go to someone else, that knows better and check quickly everything again. That person can decide that something has not been verified properly and ask for a second review on something or approve it directly. But, she told me if it is the case there is nothing to worry about, it's more security and some officers are picky.

I'm starting to think they just give generic information when you contact them to get you off their backs. Starting to believe the calls and CSE are just a waste of time and the PPR email will come when it comes. Thinking anything else is just unnecessary stress. I think they do process in batches like they did for Indians and most likely (hopefully), Nigerians get their PPR emails by next week, at least that's the trend with the guys with September AOR.
Don’t worry, I am sure everything is fine. They just need some time to go through new documents that are submitted. And sometimes applicants’ applications get approved yet they get the golden email way later. Just relax and don’t overthink it. In the end if you are way too worried you can order GCMS notes as it will tell you everything in detail and help you gain some clarity, but you will probably get PPR sooner than you will get gcms. All the best!
Don't worry, If you are doubtful, just order gcms notes though I am sure, your PPR will come sooner than the notes.
As per your file being in progress, every application will be in progress till the mail is sent.
Did you specifically tell the agent that you were told your file was approved before and she still said this.
Meanwhile, be optimistic, PPR are sent in batches right, when the mail is sent out for Nigerians, I am sure your own will be among
In my case, I was told on March 5 that my application was approved and waiting for final review.. then I called agent again today and she said my application was "verified " on Feb 20 and forwarded to LVO in Vancouver for further process. So I dont know how long this further process or final review will take. I have 11 days left till 6 month point.
Although I believe the agents refered the same thing , it feels different to hear "approved " and " verified". Lol hope best luck for us!
I raised a Web enquiry and found out that my VO is Etobicoke. Does anyone have any experience with the VO? I applied on October 13 and now only 23 days are left for the 6 months period to be over. I'm bit worried now
I donot know that, when I asked the CIC agent.. she refused suggesting this cannot be shared for security reasons.

you can raise CSE and ask specifically what office is processing your application...hope they answer...some I guess lucky people get a response this way (look some posts up), in my case it wasn’t successful though...

Woke up to golden mail sitting in my inbox an hour ago. It's been a rollercoaster ride!!! Thank you to everyone on this thread that made it bearable. Wish everyone PPR soon.
