Test invite letter: March 1st, 2018
Test date: March 14th, 2018
Passed 20/20

My test is day after tomorrow, but thank you. Hoping for a smooth test and interview.

Maybe there will be some cancellations and some of us will be lucky enough to get scheduled earlier for oath. Has happened in the past.
While you're there, ask if your application is complete or if they are still doing BG. It'll be interesting what they tell you about the oath date possibilities are.

Well I ordered my GCMS notes in mid Jan, and I can see that my BG check is already complete. Also, call center agent confirmed the same end of Jan. I will ask the officer again however. Will post my experience here.

Can applicant take laptop with him/her to the centre on test and interview day?

Yes. You'll have to switch it off/store it during the test and interview.

Most places seem to allow people to keep their bags nearby during the test (on or under a chair nearby), but do ask in the discussion thread for your office, in case they have a different policy (so you know if it'll be stored safely).

Thanks a lot. My major concern is if they will allow me to carry the laptop inside the centre. Off course, I shall keep the laptop OFF during test and interview.

Gave the test today 20/20- it was easy because I studied the guided and lots of practice. However I will suggest read the question thoroughly and answer. I also followed http://canadiancitizenshiptestkit.com website practice tests too - just click on practice test and you can give different tests each time without registering.
I used theirs to look at timeline view as well under Study Link and it helped me.
