Why don't you ask for the notes from your Immigration officer? So you will have a better understanding of what is happening with your application.
Second option: Is your spouse a Canadian citizen? Can he contact his MP? Sometimes MP's help to speed up some applications that 've been left behind

what else I have learnt....sending tooo many e-mails to CIC they will eventually block you....THEY BLOCKED ME....LOL this is crazy...i sent a test email from work work email and it went through...and from my personal e-mail I keep getting an error message.

When your status in GC key or eCAs changes, do you get an email notification or do you have to check ever so often to see if anything had changed? Glad to see October applicants from around the world reuniting with their loved ones. Accra visa office seems overwhelmed unfortunately and looks like they are still battling with July applicants.

You guys are so lucky...

We have processing by Ottawa, which is supposed to be fast. But here is the status;

1. We received your application for permanent residence on October 25, 2016.
2. We started processing your application on November 21, 2016.
3. Medical results have been received.
4. We sent you correspondence on February 3, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

We are still in process and nothing new since then.

I might be greedy, but it stresses me a lot.
Tried to call many times, never reached anybody has their phone is too busy.
