I am also waiting for CSQ... I applied at the end of Nov and haven't received any notification from them yet. I can only see that they've charged my credit card a while ago.

That's Fine if you didnt pay it upfront. They will request that payment once you're approve and you can pay it then. Or, you can gohttp://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/information/fees/result.asp?countrySelect=GY&lob=clc may the additional payment and email them a PDF copy.

Hope this helps.

Thank you guys for the help! :) I paid the fee.... I guess I'll just mail them a copy of it and hope they add it to my file.

Do you know if anyone can pay the fee? or if just myself or my sponsor (spouse)? I ask because our Interac is not wanting to work, and we are thinking of having a family member pay with a visa, and then we pay them back via email transfer. Would that be acceptable by CIC?

That's Fine....provide the e-mail transfer to CIC along with an explanation just to eliminate any suspicions

Thank you! I used the IRCC Web Form to update the details about my application and included a note about how the payment was made, and uploaded the document. :)

Now we wait for the background check to begin!

Hello,

What kind of documents they asked you ? I am from November and I am still waiting for my CSQ. I received a letter( dated from Jan 12th) last week, saying They are late due to an extra quantity of dossies They received and my case will be analyzed in the coming weeks.

Tks,

Andrea

They asked for: Certificat de sélection du Québec from the ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés culturelles. They also asked for it within 60 days.

Just wanted to add, after reading the request for documents they sent I feel like it's safe to say the CSQ requirement is definitely slowing down our application process - they are not doing anything else, not beginning a background check or anything, until after they receive the CSQ. Frustrating :(

How frustrating! I think you and I applied for CSQ around the same time. No updates or requests on my end from Quebec or CIC. Hoping we'll get CSQ soon! According to the website, seems like Quebec is processing end of Nov applicants now.

want to ask regarding my situation i applied last sept 2016 and they received my application on october , then they asked me to give the proof of communications of our relationship from the visa office in our country, after that what will be the next.

I guess everyone for CSQ is on the same boat. I have applied on 14 November and I still didn't receive anything yet... It is very frustrating...

For those who applied for CSQ do check this link:
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/sponsors-sponsored/index.html
The Ministère is currently processing the sponsorship applications of spouses and common-law partners as well as dependent children received by December 8, 2016, and the other sponsorship applications received by October 12, 2016.

To give you some hopes it also states:
Since the Ministère is working with the IRCC to ensure that these files are processed, there will not be any additional delays in issuing permanent residence visas to sponsored persons.

has any october applicants gone into bc yet?

Just got an e-mail from CiC asking for the following:

- RPRF: Pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee
- Client Information: Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Advisory on Marriages.
- Client Information: Receipt of information from client Valid Certificate of Selection from Quebec (CSQ).
- Police Certificate: Valid police certificate from Japan

Now, what is the PSA) Advisory on Marriages ?? Is that the marriage certificate? it was already in the application.
I am still waiting for my CSQ and her japan police certificate.

Anyone knows?
