Agree, patience is the key.

Good Luck for all of us

Thanks canadavan for the consolation.

I wish we both hear from them soon. Sometimes the weight doesn't feel like few more weeks (or even months) waiting. Instead you start feeling the weight of the years since one embarked on that road altogether !

And by that 'start' I don't mean the day I sent my immigration visa application in 2005 (which I got in 2009), but the years before that; when one started thinking of leaving his country !

But then again patience is key for almost everything in this life !

Sorry for the long post.

I took the test 32 days ago.

Despite the immigration officer explicitly saying " I am approving your application" e can still says In Process.

I was under the same impression that DM shows immediately (My wife who passed the test with me got her DM next day).

Then someone here kindly explained that there might be three security checks. Passing the first one only clears you for the citizenship test.

Then you need to wait for the second two. I also learned somewhere else that the name of the country you come from. Mine is one of these !!.

So hopefully things work out best for your husband.

Ecas says Decision Made now, it had been 7 days. Will ecas update with the oath date or is that only via letter?

You might get both, or mail only.

When, depends on the Office and your case.

Good Luck
