My PR application has been forwarded to Ottawa!!

I understand your concern with your package and getting your AOR
Did you send it through Canada Post- express services. Because if so you would have received a tracking number and that tracking can provide information on who signed for your package at CIC
I believe most of us here went through express services and I hope you did too.

I have not heard of CIC losing a package before. I woild think that if it made it there, you are okay. I just went back and read your previous posts. Yours made it to CIC right?
I think you will be receiving your AOR soon.

Below is my situation .I hope this doesn't happen with anyone.

I sent my initial application on August 20 by UPS with tracking number which was received at CPC Mississauga .I called CIC call centre once the website was updated with the application processing date passed my application date.(On October 30 CIC website showed application received on August 26 being processed ). They sent query to CPC Mississauga office and asked me to wait until they contact me.

When i followed up again after a week CIC call centre told me they have to wait 90 days before they can sent query to Mississauga office about the status on the application .I did not receive the application back from CIC and there was no note that it has been sent back.

For backup my consultant had the photocopy of the original file . After several unsuccessful attempt to get any answer from CIC we decided to send the photocopy of my original file with the cover letter explaining the situation.

When i spoke to CIC call centre agent on Nov 17 they told me that it shows that my file has been received on Nov 6 and they are gone issue AOR soon which i havent received yet.

What would have happen if we would have not sent the photocopy of the original application and waited for months to hear back from CIC.

I followed up several time to see if they were able to locate my original file which was sent on Aug 20, but call centre agent is telling me that they are checking my application received on Nov 6 and will issue AOR.

So i called back again only to find out that there has been no update on my application. They are not telling me what has happened to the original file sent on Aug 20,2015.

I hope this is not case with you appplication.

Originally I'd submitted in Sept. I had a signature then but they sent the whole package back as we missed one form. We got everything together again and sent it off. I do have a tracking #. It still says out for delivery on Oct 21. Canada Post says they consider it delivered as of that date. CIC I just don't find helpful. I can't help but worry when others from that date already have their AOR.
