Hi Catherine,

I understand your frustration waiting is not the greatest thing ! but am sure that it just happens for some people to be ahead of others the system is far from perfect , am sure there are tons of applicants that don't even know about this forum and waiting as well. My application was returned to me once and I had to resubmit again like Needhimback did and then my application was pushed to the back of the line and was received on Oct 20th ! they are not going in a perfect order so hang in there it will come before Christmas in Jesus name God is good remember !! pray and smile and know that God listened already it just a matter of time

Heyyyyyyy My Oct Friends, veryyyy happy for whom of you that got good news way to go CIC , let's step it up a notch , I need my AOR by tomorrow pleaseeeee , and needhimback needs her SA there is a record of 6 days now needhimback for the period between AOR and SA !!!

I am thinking that people who did not include their email will receive late AOR or SA most of the people here already received their AOR by email and I am ahead of them. I dont know if catherine27 include her email or not.

AOR - Dec 1
SA- Dec 8.

Hi everyone, first post but these forums have helped so much with our application. Our package was received October 7 as shown by Canada Post tracking, but we have still not received AOR. Today marks 63 days since the application was received, which is the processing time shown on CIC's website for SA. Does this mean we should contact the call centre? We're starting to get a little worried about our application... Thanks for any help!

If you call now they will tell you that they are working on application received on sept 29. Call them when the website change and show that they are working on application received the same date that you filed your application in that way no excuse for them but to check your application.

Yeah, I've realized that on the latest extension I requested, it took them long time to respond, then as I doubled checked my cover letter, I expounded in the letter that we will be filling for the Spousal visa and that I 'd rather sacrifice not working as long as I can stay with my hubby. Well, with that they responded and approved me a day after my SA or 8 days after my AOR.. Meaning, they- the VO at Vegreville waited until such time that VO-Mississauga updated the system.
I know the waiting time is killing us, but if you plan of visiting and be with your respective spouses, you may.. Just PLAN ahead, gather your docs and make sure that you will supply the VO. With anything they would asked for... Your ties to your home country, record of visits to other countries and return after each trip counts.
Let me know if I can facilitate in anyway possible.
