Hi i sent my wifes sponsor case on 25 oct and it was recieved on 28 oct 2015
I recieved aor1 on 16 dec and when i check my status sponsor status is in process and pr status is two line.
One line is we recieved ur pr case on 28 oct
Second line is we recieved medical results

And my sponsor status is also two lines second line is we started processing 15 dec

How thses lines looks what do u guys think when i will be getting SA

I didn't receive AOR but I received letter for SA just yesterday but it has date of December 14, my Ecas shows since December 23 sponsorship status: in process and PR application status: in process ( line with the same date received application). That means that if they start to process PR application is because they already give you the SA. Maybe, the letter is just delayed.

I think that you already have the SA.

Re: Medical Results Recieved!

There is a little chart with three columns.
The first column's title says "Sponsored Person" there is one name listed, which is my Wife's name (The Non-Canadian individual).

The second one has a title that reads Sponsorship Application Status. Under here it says "In Process". When I click the In process status, it brings me to another page with 2 short points. The first point is saying we have received your application on October xx and the second one is we started processing your application on December 14.

The third and final column is titled Permanent Residence Application Status. Here it shows Application Received. When I click Application Received I see 2 short points here as well. The first point says We have received your application on October xx (This is the same date listed for the Sponsorship Application Status when I click the In Process status). The second point says Medical results have been received.


It was a long winded reply, but I felt it was necessary to include as many details as possible, since CIC has taught us all how important it is to be meticulous with the details.

Hope it answers your question though!

Hi govind2015,

I hope you receive your AOR soon. I am August 2015 applicant and i received my AOR today after 117 days and CIC email states that my application was received on August 20,2015. I am pretty sure my application was misplaced by CIC. I followed up several times through fax and phone about status of my application but no success.

When i called CIC after the time on CIC website was passed my application date, CIC send the query to CPC but no success. CIC said they cannot contact CPC fro 90 days once they sedn the query which is insane.

I send the photocopy of my original file on Nov 6,2015 with the cover letter explaning the situation. When i called they said it shows that my file is received as of Nov 6,2015 which was photocopy of original file.

My suggestion if you don't hear back after the CIC website get updated with your application date give call to CIC and contact your MP asap with the situation. Make sure you follow up with CIC proactively even if they dont reply. Keep record of your communication with them as backup.

Till this moment my e-cas didn't update anything it says sponsorship application in process since Dec9th , and the Pr application only received !!. so whoever didn't hear about their SA or AOR even hang in there CIC will get to your file

And Merry Christmas for whom celebrating Christmas on Jan 7th ..... God is good Allllllll the time ...Amen

thanks for the positive note. I received AOR Dec 18 2015 and haven't heard anything since...and ecas is still the same--in process/App received. Let me know if you get any updates from the Cairo office. I'm curious to see if they'll actually take 17 months! lol

Please i Need help here, i just checked my ecas and i c 3 lines for me the sponsor and 3 lines for applicant pr all Still showing in process for Both. Before ecas Would show just 2lines for applicant pr but today i see they updated to add when they started processing pr application Which shows dec 31 while sponsor processing is 9th december. Y the 2 différent dates i dont understand. All showed in process two weeks ago only for dem to show the 3rd Line on pr status that They started processing 31 dec.
I have not received SA what the heck is going on.
Some one please help explain to me this im dying out of frustration.
