i would like to announce a further progress in my file.
I received AOR2 few mins ago from New Delhi Visa Office.



NeedHimback, tracyca64 and suigeneris did you all receive SA and file transfer????

btw, the wait in New Delhi office is about 14 month ??? ??? ??? ??? (eternal wait)

Unfortunately I have not heard anything about my SA and really don't know what to make of this

As for Tracyca64 she did receive Her SA and her file has been transfer to VO

Is it normal to have not received anything after the package was delivered. We only know the packaged was received because we checked our DHL tracking number.
I added myself to the October list but not sure if I did it correctly.

Not trying to scare anyone here but just want members informed. My application was misplaced by CIC. I followed up several times through fax and phone about status of my application but no success. I had also send the photocopy of my original file in November.

My suggestion if you don't hear back after the CIC website get updated with your application date give call to CIC and contact your MP asap.

I wish everyone super speedy processing !

We didn't go over the top by any means. We included prints of our wedding pictures (which included family), some of our honeymoon, and some of an informal engagement BBQ we had which showed my husband meeting my family. We included the requested statements which explained key moments in our relationship (pretty sure our first kiss is detailed somewhere... :-[ )

I should note that we have an infant son, so that may help our cause.

Wanted to add our timeline so far.

•October 7th application received Mississauga
•November 27th Processing Started
•December 11th Sponsor Approved --> transfer to Ottawa

Medical Received ( we sent and paid everything at the start )
PR Status Application received.

I see a ton of applications from the States go through is 6-8 Months though Ottawa time shows 16months is the lower number common?

We should have a fairly easy application no kids or anything.
