I noticed Asian visa offices work slow
European and south American VO work much faster

Happy Canada day to all future arrivals.

Inland VO slow may be acceptable because spouses are living together
but outland spouses living separately in
long distance relationship

Mr Trudeu ur young and u should understand the feelings of couples
please speed up spouse visa process

Hi everyone.

My husband sent in his PR Application and was received in October 2015. Last month I was sent an email stating I was approved to sponsor him and last week we received another email stating that we have a meeting for his Landing Interview/Finalizing interview. We were very pleased and excited that it was done without any hiccups!

That's good news; which visa office are you applying from?

You'll have to forgive me as I'm am so stupid when it comes to all of this. I know we sent the application off to Vegreville in October and we go today to Fredericton, NB for the Interview/Meeting. If that's not the answer to the question you can dumb it down for me more. haha. This whole process was a lot on us and I lived on these forums so a lot of the info and terms and stuff throws me off so I do appoligize.

Just bought plane ticket for my wife 8) 8) 8) she will land at montreal airport on 23th august. Would have like sooner but i'm out the country for work for a month. So, in total, the process with mississauga and singapore visa office about 8 months.

Finally passports in my hands!! 8)

Bogota office got passport on July 06, I received calling on July 21 for request to pick the passports up.

I am currently in Canada but I sent passports to Colombia and I just sent an authorization for other person to collect them, signed and scanned with photocopy of my Colombian identity card. It wasn't necessary to notarized or authenticate.

Thanks for your support in this process!! I hope the best for you guys ❤️

Good luck ;D
