Yes, you need to send 2 photos. They will be attaching one to your COPR.

Question for those that have gone IP in July and are now getting DM status:

In your ECAS, does the "we started processing your application on..." line actually have the date of July? Or is July just the date you saw the update in the system, and the date listed is backdated to March or April or something?

As is the case with immigration issues, the best thing to do is to follow instructions. there is usually instructions to follow with boxes to check as you fulfil the PPR request. Does it say send two photos or are you just thinking it is best to send or others on this forum that you need to send pictures?

Whatever the answer is to the question above...here's my two cents.

- if there's no explicit request for pictures, then CIC does not need your new pics. Remember you sent photos when you applied. Now if you're wondering wht CIC asks some people for photos , they do so randomly. So not ALL are asked for photos at the end (PPR time).

- Now if you're still anxious (and i understand) because after waiting 10 - 11 months, you don't want to mess things up, then send pictures - it wouldn't hurt to send, worst case, they'll throw it in the bin. best case CIC (which we all know are not mistake free ) will see use for it and it'll save you some time. So since it can only benefit you and the worst case as no consequence. Include photos if it makes you sleep better

Relax guys just look at me, got AOR on 24 March and nothing after that and I am 20 October applicant. Think about my situation and it will soothe you ;D ;D

I was in the same situation, and I just thought that they already had enough of mines, so I disregarded it and sent my passport.. Lol I don't know how it's going to turn out.. But in any case that's what I did

I didn't get ip ,still medical received ,i am oct 27 applicant

I think Oct 27 visa officer has gone on a long vacation .
If i am not wrong nobody from OCT 27 received any update after their medical on April 03.
Lafleur16, Rut, Randhawa007 ,Justland,ram537 and me all got Medical on the same day but no update after that.
Most of the applicant before and after us got either DM or ppr but not us..
