i've got my Status Updated on ECAS....!!!
it says "we started processing your Applicationon on 29th April 2015."
so i think they updated my ECAS Status in evening time on 14 Aug. 2015

Hey Roydidi, I understand your frustration, hang in there. ri123 had given me this number to contact cic a while ago: I guess ON time works if your file is in Ontario.

Thanks a lot, Difi. Just called them this morning but unfortunately they didn't help since it hasn't passed the regular 16 month processing time. Thanks very much anyways. All I can do I guess is to be hopeful.

Okay..so I need help to see if this is normal. I received today by mail a "confirmation of permanent residence" document, one for every member in the family, and it says we need to go to the border. Certainly no one asked for our passports to be sent, just to take this info with us and go to the border. (Or book an appointment but that takes a month). We are inland applicants. Any ideas?

i think u r from visa free country. normally visa free country applicant doesn't need a visa stamping. thus cic
doesn't do stamping on those applicant. i might b wrong so double check with other forum guys.congratulation dear

i'm Oct 23 applicant. Anyone has any clue why applicants on that date got stuck? No IP. No DM. Nothing.... I'm losing my patience. I've applied for EE as well but the score is low only at 417. Hopefully, as you guys mentioned, that wouldn't impact my PNP application.

Anyone has the phone number that I can reach out to CIC to check my application? Any suggestion on the strategy/reasons that I can provide in order to have them look at my file?

Guys what do think of this case : one of my friends who is an early November applicant, had her profile updated to ip today, but it says that the processing of her application began on April 27th!!! That's very early, isn't it? And why would she be in processing since then and not receive any updates, or a decision for that matter?

for sure. dont worry too much. It might be the guy who is responsible for updating our case is not available. the officer may already start processing our case. people who get updates still waiting for couple weeks to get PPR. for CIC, no news means good news. which means you are not required additional documents. god bless us.
