October 2014 PNP CIC Applicants

I done my medical exactly two months back but nothing is updated on ECAS. Is there anyone else from AINP PR nominee done medicals on 22nd april and still not updated on ECAS?

I had my medical last April 8, CIC confirmed that they received my medical last April 16. My ECAS is not updated yet - I am thinking perhaps it is because my husband needs further review of his medical.

But if you are going to backread; there are some few of us that medical has been done and ECAS is not updated. Somebody also received a request to pay RPRF even without their ECAS updated.

I received an e-mail from CIC - Sydney and says there that our application has been transferred to OTTAWA visa office. Is this normal??

I am a October 4 applicant. Nothing updated after MR. I am expecting IP today but lets see.
How much longer do you think it might take for DM and PPR

Have you guys paid the RPRF fee in advance? Would you recommend it?

Other question, if you pay it in advance, do we have to mail them by the post the receipt or is it done electronically?

If you paid upfront, you email the receipt. Now with regards to paying RPRF fee upfront, I'll give you what is....my personal opinion - Pay RPRF when you're asked to do so. When it comes to immigration, I advise people to follow instructions!!!!. In your application, it says if/when they need anything, they'll contact you. It also tells you that your application is progressing when you get the email to pay rprf. You can pay it the same day and send the receipts via email the same day. One thing....again, this is not the right answer but my own opinion. In fact, CIC states that RPRF fee must be accepted at anytime the applicant choose to pay.

The third line is added to my ECAS: "We started processing your application on June 19, 2015."
I am Oct. 02 applicant and got RPRF last Friday.
Waiting impatiently for CIC to make their "Decision"!!!

Yay!!! I'm happy for you!!! In 2 weeks to a month you'll get your PPR!!!

I applied for my BOWP in February and got it back exactly 8 weeks later

Congrats!!! I am OCt 3rd appliant and paid rprf upfront. ECAS still shows medical received. no other notice yet. ;(

Hi, today I received an email from Ottawa requesting my kid's passport. We had to renew it a while ago so it makes sense. However, I was wondering if that means that we will be asked for our passports anytime soon, too.

Also, how much time after passport request do you get the PPR?

If cic asked for your Kids passport,its already PPR. Congrats! That is so quick processing! cic received your application on Oct 27, 2014 right?

Yes, let's see if it's related to processing though, rather than just updating records with the new passport. Thanks anyway!

Thanks for your answer I will wait because as you said, I do not have any instruction to send it by email, no reference and at least I will know when they ask that my file is moving
