I am having question if anyone can help me.My brother is getting a LMO from a canadian employer so i am just wondering can he apply under express entry or he would need LMI to apply for express entry ? What's difference between LMO and LMI basically ?

Congrats to all of you who already have your AOR!!!
Guys, could you kindly give me your opinion, I'm confused. This is the situation:

I would like to take a short holiday (7 days) outside Canada. I have a work permit valid for next 2 years and my country doesn't need visa to enter Canada. Also I have more than 4 years working in Canada. Currently applying to PR since Dec.04th 2014.
So, with the new law of just 4 years for TFW effective since April 1st 2015, Do you think they would allow me to reenter Canada without problem? or will they said: "You have more than 4 years you can not re enter". Would I risk to much going for a relax vacation outside Canada?
Could you give your thoughts please?

This is just my opinion.. I'd rather not leave and re-enter, because there will always be a chance that they might refuse you for whatever reason, right? You'll never know what kind of border officer will face you when you come back. And especially since you said you've been working here for 4 years already and with the 4 in 4 out rule in effect. Plus the fact that you have a PR application in process. There might be a chance they'll tell you to just wait for it in your home country. Bummer, I know. I've been wanting to go to the States too for the longest time, but I think I'll just wait. Just my thoughts

LMIA - Labour Market Impact Assessment.

During my time in 2009, it was called LMO. Now I think it's called LMIA. I'm 90% sure it's the same thing.

Have you paid your landing fees in advance?

What's the advantage and disadvantage of paying it in advance? I just finished my medical yesterday and I'm thinking to pay the landing fees (RPRF). Thoughts?

Changes in Employment (Proof of Previous Employment Relieving Letter and Experience Certificate update on the Case Specific enquiry) as well as sent to email id provided by CIC in AOR.

Please update my timeline accordingly.

Any senior here who has experience that how to update CIC about change in employment?? I had resigned from the job on December 17th, 2014 and relieved by employer of Februaru 06, 2015 after serving notice period of 2 months. I am an unemployee right now... Is there any nagetive effect to my application if I have been Resigned from the work since I had already nominated under Manitoba Provincial Nomination Program from Manitoba Government.

Please light on the raise issue as It creat some tension for me now. I have total 8 years of work experience and now I am an unemployment.

Please share your views and experience with me here.

no need to update them since you already have your AOR just wait for the next step since you have 8years work experience you already gain points and it is not the only thing that matters.. they will still check with your medical and police records...

like me i applied MPNP and CIC unemployed with only 2 years work experience but then they did issue my visa so dont worry... let your faith be bigger than your fears! goodluck Godbless :!

Most of the applicants here who had AOR already got their Medical Request.. I'm quite worried why we haven't received our MR yet and its already 15days after we received our AOR ? Is there any problem with our application? Our passports are now expired (April 5). Do we have to send our new passport details/scanned copy or we will wait for CIO to request for it.
Hope for an immediate response.. This waiting really drives me crazy! ??? :'(

medical request waiting time vary depends how fast is your visa office... after AOR cic transfer application to visa office for processing.... inform your visa office about your new passport details immedietly after you receive your medical request...
