October 2014 PNP CIC Applicants

Hi all,
One of my friend whose file reached CIC on 1st October,2014 received PPR yesterday.
He had submitted his medical on 23rd May. His ECAS showed medical received on 4th June and he received PPR on 5th June.
Its good news for October applicant.
I have also submitted my medical on 28th April. Hope to receive my PPR soon...

When did your friend paid RPRF though?

My friend got RPRF request on 12th May which was a week after he received his medical request. He paid his RPRF on the same day.

Yes that was really quick. He didnt pay the PR fee in advance.

What country or visa office is processing? I've got medical received, rprf paid up front, my app is ready to finalization but hasn't reached in process stage. But my app was received in November 2014.

My visa office is cpp Ottawa.

I had my medical last April 07 here in Canada and my husbands medical was done last May 8 in the Philippines.

I phoned CIC last time, and they told me they received mine last April 16 - they do not want to give info for my husband. They told me I still need to submit IMM 5746 to be authorized.

Our ECAS is still not updated to medical received? Do I have to worry? or Wait

Same for me Melissa, my status did not change since the medical test received. On what I can see here, we should not be worried

Congrats to your friend. My application reached on Oct 10 medical done and I paid landing fees upfront hoping to get my PPR soon..

Same for me Melissa, my status did not change since the medical test received. On what I can see here, we should not be worried

Done my medical on 22nd April but nothing updated on ECAS. Anyone lukcy here ?

Anybody encountered recieved letter from cic for additional medical test?
We are oct 24 applicant and done medical last May 5, and waiting for ecas update, and yet it will not be updated because my husband need additional test.
Did we have anything to worry about?

Oh, Thank you lafleur16 - I thought I am the only one that ECAS not updated to medical received.

If you ecas not updated with medical recivied status than you must phone cic and confirm they might sent you furthernace medical test email but u may not got it. Better do not take any risk because furtherance medical test email is valid for 07 days and if u ll not contact to done with the reports than your case may in result of refusal so don't waste time and get the confirmation right now

I phoned CIC later time. They told me that they received my medical and doing some background check. They do not want to give info on my husband (my dependent) as agent, told me I was not authorized unless I submit IMM 5476.

Yesterday, my husband received phone call from the clinic and ask him to go for another x-ray test.
