Hi Khowe,
I have sent my application exactly at the same time as you (October 14th) but I have not received any email yet and the E-cas also does not show any record of my application. Just a couple of questions:

1-Who has received your application envelope and signed it at CIC office at October 17th?
2-Did you receive AOR by email before getting your status updated in E-cas?

Hey pazook,

The person who signed had the initials DW.

I haven't received any formal communication from CIC other than the update in E-Cas, which only says they received my application. I started trying to log in about two weeks ago since others in October were starting to get notifications from CIC. Today was the first day that I was able to see anything in E-Cas and it appears that they did a massive update last night because a large number of people who received only email AORs but had not been able to log in to E-Case are now able to see their status.

I talked to an agent last week and he said that for our group, we should wait a few more weeks. They were still working on applications received until October 1st. Given that the holiday's are fast approaching, I wouldn't be surprised if you don't hear anything before January. Good Luck!

My application has been received and signed by a person who had the initials MK according to the FEDEX info.
The agent also told me same thing last week. However, many October applicants have got their status updated during last 2 weeks according to the Forum. I hope that I'll get some good news before holidays

I finally got an AOR via email today. (I was starting to feel a little left out!)
My application number is in the C0000XXXXX format.
As would be expected for people receiving email AORs, I do not have access to E-CAS yet.
Anyway, at least they didn't return the application!

Now I gotta start reading the online version of the study guide!

I actually now have received my AOR via email in addition to being able to log in to E-Cas. I am also part of the C0000XXXXX group.

I know how you feel, because I was in the same boat until today... but I think you will hear something within the next few days, for sure.

If you wrote your email during your application, expect to see an email AOR.

Just checked today -- my application was sent in on 20 October 2014. Up to now eCas couldn't find me. This morning, eCas shows my home address -- and the ability to update if needed. So, I imagine that I should see a status in a day or so

Ynany1027, are you saying you got your application number starting with letter C but in the regular mail as a letter and not as email?

Google spreadsheet for October 2014 applicants shows that the following applicants who applied on or before 6th October, 2014 have not received their AOR yet:

RHH, johoja, ualiu, skFSW, milla, paul, JAN01

Did any one of the above noted applicants receive any sort of correspondence from CIC yet?

My application was received on 6th October, 2014, so far no AOR, i sent a case specific inquiry on 9th December, no response yet.

On saturday there were two updates in eCAS for my application.
I requested a name change and I can see that now.
The received line for my spouse is gone. I never had that line to begin with.
