I applied on Oct 27 and my application was delivered on Oct 29,

Any idea when I will get the acknowledgment?

Now i am worried! looks like people whose applications were received on Oct 6 2014 have all had Ecas updated today, we even have Oct 9 th 2014 Ecas updated for applicant rednwhite. My application was received on Oct 6th 2014 and my ecas is showing nothing.

Did you tried calling CIC? Just give them a call and don't be desperate with them to know status...Tell them that you just called in to find out if your payment receipt was encashed etc etc.

How are you trying to check your status. Please check if you are following these steps.

1. Citizenship
2. Grant of Citizenship
3. Choose Client ID - Enter as xxxx-xxxx including Hyphen
4. Enter all necessary personal information

It should work hopefully. Try Again.

I am following all those steps but my client ID is the number on the receipt of fees that i printed online when i paid the fees.

At this stage do you have any other Client ID? May be that's where i am messing up? where do you get the client ID like xxxx-xxxx including Hyphen? because my receipt ID has no hyphen!

I used my PR card number which is on the backside of the card. And it worked.

They got my on October 6 too and I can see nothing. Oh well.

If you select client id number/unique client identifier from the list, use the xxxx-xxxx number (including the hyphen) on the front of your PR card. If you select PR card number from the list, use the PAxxxxxxx (For me it is PA i don't know if its the same for everyone) number on the back of your PR card.
I too tried with the receipt number and used the number on the payment receipt but that does not work. Apparently there is a receipt number in the AOR that works to check eCAS but comes in the mail later so we dont know it yet.
So your best bet would be to try with the numbers on your PR card. If it still does not show up you can try contacting CIC or wait 1 more week and see.

I also paid my fees online but its not client Id number. Our member Redandwhite gave the correct answer, Client ID is on the front of your PR card. Choose Cliend ID and use xxxx-xxxx no from front of your PR card.

OR
Choose PR card number and Enter PA number starting with two alphabets from the back of your PR card. I tried with Client ID xxxx-xxxx from front of my PR card.

Hi Guys,
When do (after the application is received by CIC )we see the status in ecas ? I applied recently (CIC received my application on Nov 2nd week) and with all combinations (PR card front / back) the ecas states that there is no application in processing currently.

Does it get updated or log you into the status screen only after the processing has begun?
