Delivered Column is when your courier/canada post dropped at CIC Sydney

Should we add a Column - Application Type like 2 Adult & 2 Children?

wow - some people have got the 'received' in ECAS pretty fast according to the spreadsheet - any reason why some are moving so fast ?

Also - what are you guys using to lookup your application status in ECAS? ClientID Number? And how are you inputting it i.e) xxxx-xxxx or xxxxxxxx

I think the information entered in sheet is wrong in column Received...

Folks please correct the information... I understand these dates are when CIC Sydney received your package delivered by Canada Post or Courier.

I think adding column for application type ( family /single) will be fine

It is still too early, I think. Most people from September have not heard anything, and people from August are only now almost all in process. Our day will come too!

We may start receiving (e)mails in December. Maybe. Hopefully.

Has anyone, whose application was received at CIC around 1st/2nd week of October, received AOR Email?

My application was received on 6th October, 2014 at Sydney.

I have a friend who sent her application in August and received an email for AOR. But that's the only one. My other friends received a letter through mail.

I am pretty sure she received the email in October. So you won't receive an email before at least December.

Hello Everyone,

Someone im'ed me this morning from this forum telling they saw update that my app is in process and asked if its true. I laughed my ass off and came to work as usual.

But then, i called CIC just now to check if they rec'd my application yet or not (knew they wouldnt usually tell that info easily or tell some contradictory information between agents)

Called in at 10:45: Agent 1 after asking all the security questions kept me on hold for 2 mins and came back telling "Good News...We have your application in the system and sent out Acknowledgement Letter and Discover Canada study guide by mail"

Couldn't believe this and so i decided to call in after 20 mins.

Called in again at 11:15: After prolonged waiting time of 20 mins, Agent 2 confirmed the same.

App Rec'd : Oct 6th, 2014 ( the same day it was delivered per Canada Post)

App In Process: Nov 20th, 2014.

So i am happy and i hope the process goes smooth. Please pray for me....

I cant see the status yet online. Was told by the agent that they update ecas every Wednesday. so hopefully thursday or friday, i should see the changes.

Its a single application.
