October 2014 Citizenship Applications

My wife just received her letter... Oath letter for Aug 5th seems that ecas is not reliable at all as its still showing and invitation for citizenship exam...

I also got mine yesterday Monday. August 5 in Montreal!!

1.We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 10, 2014.
2.We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 15, 2015.
3.We started processing your application on March 13, 2015.


NO update till now. i am so sad.

Agree with you, can't rely on this ecas at all, just confirmed with my wife oath letter (now)...

Sad to say.. but not really sure whats going on your application. Almost October applicants done with their TEST and your file is not moving at all. I suggest you have to call them over and over again until you talk with a very helpful agent that can clarify your case. its very unusual... : : : are you from montreal?

Had my Oath ceremony today at Vancouver. That was about 10 months from application to Oath for me.

Same boat.. October applicant, in Process sine Jan 7th and no updates till now.

I can see I'm not the only one who's waiting because of Montreal office...

your application is for a family ?

I'm frustated because some March-April applicants from Montreal have already their test invites.

I don't understand the organisation of this office....

i never left the country, i work full time, study, own apartment...
