Hi drewday.... yes I am a filipina who acquired a canadian citizenship.... if they need you for an interview, will they do the interview first before asking for a ppr.... or its the other way around?... its so complicated now.... I did a couple of sponsorship before and all went well....

Passport requested!!! Timeline was 7.5 months. Half the estimated wait time on the website!! We are not living in the country which we applied through anymore so my boyfriend flew there today to drop the passport off because they are only giving us 10 days to land! A little rushed and annoying but worth the money and stress!

Yes, same here after using it for 2 months, happened on July 05. Sponsor UCI has the same message as you but applicant UCI is ok.

I am the applicant. You got one for the sponsor and one for applicant. AOR1 for sponsor's UCI and AOR2 for applicant. I live with my spouse, so I can either login using sponsor or applicant UCI.

i used the same uci number...im the sponsor, and after a while it wouldn't work under my name so I switched to my husbands name with the same UCI...

I am following CIC on twitter and they posted on 4th july that there will be a maintenance scheduled for 5th july but until now it doesnt seem to work...I think it will work in a few days....

I am an Abu Dhabi applicant. My husband is in Canada. We applied in October 2013 and my current online status says 'In process'. My medicals have been updated on Ecas and I had received additional documents request in January 2014. So everything is progressing smoothly I think but very slowly. It has been 10 months since we applied.

I applied for a visit visa to Canada two weeks ago and I got a 8 year multiple entry visit visa!! So I am planning to visit my husband and wait in Canada until the PR comes through as we just cant be away from each other anymore.

I have a few questions now - If I receive a request to do my medicals again, can I do it in Canada itself as a panel physician approved there? And then if I get the passport request, do I have to come back to Abu Dhabi to send my passport to the embassy or can I send it by courier from Canada itself? I will of course once I get the passport back, leave Canada and enter again to do the landing but I thought I would just fly to somewhere close in the US and enter again.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Please let me know the best way to go about this.

Hey Kittyandpipit, I'm in the same boat. We haven't heard anything since spousal sponsorship approval. Being processed through CPC-Ottawa.
