Its been 3 weeks since my status on ECAS changed to In Process. Is there anyone else on this thread who is processing spouse visa through the Abu Dhabi office. How long does it take from now to know if a decision has been made? I am going crazy checking the online status and my emails every hour of every day! :(

It's official!

My husbands COPR finally arrived this morning. It was dated May 8th. Our mail has been so slow lately!

Yay! Please update me :)

P.s
Was I wrong to think that they would send the B4 forms with it? Or does he need to just find them and print them off himself?

Congratulations!

As for the B4 forms he has to get them himself as they have nothing to do with CIC. You can find them on the CBSA website.

Hi Cannukgirl, He has to print the forms himself. Easiest to fill them out online and print them. FYI, my immigration officer barely glanced at them. When is your husband going to land?

Most likely the first or second week of June. He's just getting back from a job contract and will be In Seattle to visit his family and pack for about 2 weeks before he lands. I'm glad they don't worry too much about the b4 forms.....I'm just wondering how he can ship stuff without us having to pay duty when it gets here though?

Although I ended up renting a U Haul trailer and towing my stuff behind my SUV, I did look into shipping. You can do it and not have to pay duty, and the shipping companies I talked to (mostly PODS) knew all about how to do this. They have the forms, and on the B4 he marks the box that says "Goods to follow." I don't know all the details, only that he can ship out his goods and not have to pay duty, and that the movers know how to handle the paperwork.
