Hi CanAsian. Have you tried using the file number? Then the name of the principal applicant (btw are you the principal applicant or the sponsor?) or if you are using the UCI number did you use the sponsor's name as well?

Thanks Chrislyn. I finally was able to log in. I have been using my information (I'm the sponsor) instead of my wife's information. What does your status have? I just have :

We received your application for permanent residence on October 3, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

Glad I can log in and check now.

I'm pretty sure that you will get your decision ltr re sponsorship by snail mail. I got the AOR by email and then a DM on ecas and then a snail mail letter. It usually takes a month or 27 days for DM. :)

Hi,

I sponsored my wife from India.
File received in Mississauga: Oct 07, 2013
Status update online on Oct 22, 2012 stating, Decision made on your application and a letter has been sent to you.
Received an email from immigration on Oct 31, 2013 saying you met the requirement to sponsor and your file has been sent to New Delhi.

Now waiting to hear from Delhi :)

Spreadsheet updated :D

Have a good day

ugh im getting so frustrated, how are people who's application was received the same day as mine able to sign in and i cant!! ??? I havnt heard anything

Hi guys I have a question about the proof the medical examination now. I hope you can help me with this~~
I'm filing the sponsorship application outside of Canada.
For the proof of medical examination for the sponsored person, the checklist asked us send Copy 1 of Medical Report: Client Biodata and Summary (IMM 1017) However, the doctor in the clinic says they don't issue that. In the end we only got a piece of receipt from the clinic.

Can we send the receipt for the proof of the medical examination? If yes, do we have to send the original one or just the photocopy of the receipt?

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried like Chrislyn said and use the principal applicants name instead of the sponsors name?

I couldn't log in for a long time because I was using my name (I'm the sponsor) instead of my wifes name.

Yeah ive been using my husbands info (im the sponsor), but only have the receipt # - am i even checking the right place? Where it says "check status of your application"?

Hey guys i noticed that if we use the UCI number the name of the sponsor should be used while using the application number requires the sponsored person's name. Lets take note that the AOR is supposed to be for the sponsor thus making the uci no the sponsor's uci no and not for the sponsored. Does that make sense? Just an observation tho. I once tried using the uci no with my name and info it didnt get thru. Then i used my husband's name and i was able to get in.
