Congratulation for those who are getting somewhere and I'm still being all people from this threat still waiting for they PPR/VISA. I've been away for so long with no internet access. Thanks jennfwa and AC99 for having maintain the spreadsheet all this time. As you may have seen on my timeline I got the visa early this month and I'm planning to go to Canada by next month. I hope everything will be fine and the process faster than ever....

Hey guys!

Does anyone know if it's ok for my husband to come visit while the application is still going through? He's done his work in June and wants to come here for the remainder of the process. Will they let him in if he doesn't have a return flight? I'm sure I could search the forum for an answer but thought I'd just ask here first! Hope we all hear some sort of news soon

It would be safe for him to have a return flight. It's not that much more expensive to get a return flight and its probably better to be safe than sorry. Try to find a refundable ticket. You might have to use a travel agent to get that. Make sure he tells immigration that he is just visiting you. He can say that he has an application in process but he will leave in 6 months or whatever the maximum is for him. Never say he is moving to Canada without the PR papers.

AHHHHH..... Came home to a PPR email! So excited. Sent it off as soon as I got it. So anyone know typically how long till I should be done now? I'm still in shock! Can't stop smiling.
