After compiling this data...it seems like they are trying to start processing the applications 2 months after receiving them, I can carefully say that things are somewhat more under control at CIC nowadays, now, what I would like to see is how they are processing RQ's.

Also, from the little sample we have here, updates are taking place on tuesdays and wednesdays.

There is no any update for my application
I think they returne my application
Because the language aproof is wrong
They ask just for high school certificate or certificate for links classes
Or others English test
I put letter from high school and i finshed ESL
And that's not enough

I am so mad
Becouse some one from the immigration helped me to fill the application and she told me to give this aproof

I just called CIC and they mentioned they opened my application on the 16th of december... but i still cannot see it on e-Cas.. the agent said maybe it will appear in the next few days.. he also mentioned they have sent the acknowledgement letter and said he will resend it if I haven't already received it.. he was kind enough to email me the link to the study guide...http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/discover/index.asp

Man you fell on a nice guy... I just called and the girl i talked to was kind of too direct. She said that they are opening applications received till the 19th of september ( ... which is obviously wrong), when I gave her my client number, she said that she couldn't see anything and that I still had to wait for more than a month before hearing from them.

ha ha yeah i got lucky.. after i gave him my client id and dob, he read out my current address and phone number so i know for sure my app is opened since i only moved to my current address in september and they wouldn't have it on file otherwise...

maybe your app was also opened on the 16th and we should see ecas reflecting it in the next week or so
