This should be a thread for all of you who applied in October 2011. Please write, so we can compare processing times and as we go we might bump into same problems and maybe help each other with some advice ;D

Probably one of the last considering we're near the end of the month, but I might as well be the first on this thread! Crossing my fingers for a magical 6mo-or-less turnaround!

I don't think I will quite make this thread. Looks like my application will be getting submitted to CPC-M at the very start of November.

Sent my application to Mississauga on October 3rd, received October 4th. Nothing since then, was really hoping to get at least a confirmation they had received it. Nothing on eCAS system either.

me too, sent oct. 7 , they received oct.8 and nothing since then . Sometimes only info ppl get is that one that they forwarded pprs to visa office,

No problem! I just thought: Since, as a Septemberian, I enjoy having all the September applicants in one thread, with a google doc keeping track of their progress, you might enjoy having the same for October. There are 2 other October 2011 threads, the bottom one being the largest so far:

Hello everybody, i was reading times and embassy said, that they are working in august 15 2011 app, so well now, they did post 70 days now for 1 step well just one day ,but godddddd i almost die :'(

This is my first time to post here. I submitted my application to CPC-M in October. I received a letter that my application has be transferred to Pretoria, South Africa on January 4, 2012. They haven't contact me ever since. I haven't submitted my Medicals and Police clearance. My question is do I have to wait for them to contact me or I can take it to the embassy myself? And please is there any other person here who is applying in South Africa?
