hi everyone..im still here in the philippines..april 2012 i had my medical done again...after that around july2012 they asked for an update and more proof of our relationship..my application was affected by some new law about fake marriage to canadians...so my husband and son had to come here last Aug2012 so we can show more proof...i don't think it's needed on our part because i had been living with my husband here in the philippines since 2004 to 2010. he just went back to canada so he can get work so he can sponsor me...also our son has been living and studying in canada with my in-laws since 2006..my husband had to bring our fil-can son to canada so he can start studying there...
my papers are still in canada....my husband went to his mp earlier today to ask for some help coz my medical will be expiring again this april2013...
such a sad and long wait....we never thought it would take this long....

Hello Everyone, I got the email below from the MP's office that I should be receiving an email today requesting an updated medical. What does this mean ? Do I have to pay all the fees again and everything ? It's almost $ 500 and what does it mean for my case ? Does it mean the officer is finally reviewing it and it's moving forward ?

Dear

We have been advised that an email will be sent out today requesting an up
dated medical. All other documents have been received. Please advise if
you do not receive the email.

Thanks,

Awww... I'm so sorry it's taking this long. Trust me - I know the feeling. I also went to my MP when I felt it was taking too long. My husband got his visa a little over 1 month after (including Christmas holidays). I don't know if it pushed it further along, but I imagine it did.

Asukal is right your medical is expired and you need to redo it. Your MP advising you that you will receive a URGENT letter or email from CEM for your remed you just have to wait for it because that's your proof when you go to your Panel Physician. And you'll just goin to pay the fee for your remed that's all.
