Zagalo, I have a question for you. Did your wife recieve an AOR from Beijing before she got the PPR? My wife just got her AOR from Beijing, saying that her application is now in the queue. Thanks!

hi im also oct 2011 applicant from qubec...i approved 22 dec but not received my approval letter from cic. i need this letter urgent becouse of csq application. csq needs for qubec sponsor to start pr application outsite canada...

pls keep update if anyone got approval letter.....

How do you know that you are approved if you do not have the letter? Ecas maybe? If that is the case then you should call CIC immediately and explain and ask that they resend you the letter either by email or mail.

Mark_in_Canada , as i wrote before , my wife got Passport request and AOR in the same E-mail . the first attachment in the E-mail was the passport request stating that in order to continue the processing of her application , they require her valid passport or travel document for herself .The second attachment was the AOR with the file number and the UCI.
I believe they have gone through my wife application already as they requested the passport for herself only; means they have seen that she is the only applicant and qualifies hope so then.
I think your wife will get her PPR soon as well

Hi all, I received my COPR today. They tried to deliver it yesterday but I was not in so I picked it up from the post office today. Ecas updated today as well to say a decision was made on the 21st of February so it took a few days to reach me.

Hey All,

I'm sponsoring my hubby from Jamaica. CPC-Mississauga recived our application October 7th. He just took his PP in to the VO this morning. Getting so excited to get him here with me.

Congrats to all who have recived good news so far and for thoes that are still waiting good things will soon come. Keep the faith... Immigration works in wierd ways!

It's really weird but i can 't see my Ecas online .Beiijing used to update cases on their website but now they are redirecting applicants to CIC website , i tried there but nothing . What do youuse to log in? the UCI from Beijing ? do you use it on CIC website?

I did not know that Beijing had their own website. Can you tell me the link, I will look at it.
I always use the CIC website under "Check Application Status" link on the menu located on the right side. I type my UCI number provided in the AOR, my last name, date of birth, and place of birth. I can see, as I am the sponsor, that the file in Beijing is "in process" for my wife (the applicant). I did try also to type the UCI number of my wife (also provided in the AOR) + last name + ..., and I have the same result: file "in process". I tried also the receipt number when I paid the immigration fees before to submit the application; same result as well. I hope it helps !! I am still waiting for the passport request...

The website of the Canadian Embassy in Beijing is www.china.gc.ca Back in 2010 when i applied for Federal skilled worker through Beijing i used to check my application status through that website because Beijing updated it on their website It was really detailed and updates were done regularly .But it is written there that they do not provide such service anymore and all requests should be done on the CIC website , but when i log in on CIC website with all the informations i have nothing pops up , weird huh , but i do not worry much about that because the application is being normally processed my wife has already gotten passport request two weeks ago from Beijing office ,that is one month after the approval in Mississauga , just hoping now that they didn't just make an early request of passport but did so because they are ready to issue the visa to my wife. Anyway we are just waiting now and hope the good news comes soon !
