OMG my VO is finally updating my ecas! it says we started processing your application on FEb. 6, 2012 !!!!!
I thought i wouldn't get any changes in my ecas like others, it gives joy at least
Hope its visa sooooooooooonn YAY!

My ecas shows that I`m in process since Jan. 06. but still no PPR, I guess our VO`s work differently. I can see, Manila and some other VO`s ask for PP but then start to process, Vienna finishes everything and then ask for your PP , and you can have visa stamped same day if you go in person .

hoping for a great week this week... lets be positive guys! more PPR, DM and visa!

Guys I need help, my sis received my letter from CEM it says URGENT last Feb 15 but it was dated Feb 14 together PPR request, Appendix A and Personal History how do I start writing in most recent or in the past?

I started from the past to most recent.

Updates to my Sponsorship process (Moscow)

Hello,

I just wanted to share some recent things that happened with my wife's PR application. The ecas status still says "Application Received"

But I got an email today saying:

This refers to your application for permanent residence. In order to start processing your case, we require the following listed below. Otherwise, we are unable to process your application for permanent residence in Canada.

Updated forms. Please note that all information should be completed since age 18.

Gaps in addresses, in educational and personal history (even a month long) are not allowed:

Schedule A Background/Declaration: IMM5669E.PDF for you
(There are no information about your activities from December 1989 to February 2000 and from October 2010 till present time)

If we do not receive the requested documents within thirty (30) days from the date of this request, we may interpret this as a lack of interest to immigrate to Canada.Your case may be closed according to subsection 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

The call center in Canada said since she is 40, only the last ten years of her history (IMM 5669, #8) should be written. How should one understand their instructions in the form: "Provide the details of your personal history since the age of 18, or the past 10 years, whichever comes first". Regardless, I emailed them everything from age 18 to the present in a PDF file the same day. How much delay is this going to cause?

So technically, have they started processing my wife's file? or since they found this problem, they are not touching it until they get the updated information?

Any input from anyone in here?

PS: How do you get all those pieces of information to show up next to a forum poster's name? Like visa office, date of meds, etc... some people have this and some do not.

Regards

ferdowsi , the first thing they say is updated forms. Make sure you are using the new forms as they updated them sometime last year.
To get all the info to show up you have to have a certain number of posts, I think it is 10.

@ferdowsi, They will start processing your case once you submit those papers they are asking, Try to do it without any gasps from age of 18 `till now. You can file that form now online and then print it.

Because what I did on filling the Background Declaration # 11. Personal History was I started to most recent to past. Right now CEM sends together with the PPR request, Appendix A and the Personal History and on the procedure is quite different. No more like start from the most recent so I think I should follow what is says here then.

I am using the current forms, the set with the bar code generation feature. I just gave them what they wanted about the personal history. Better not to argue with them.

My form IMM 5669 does not need to be resent. Fortunately, for that troublesome section they wanted me to correct, I originally wrote "see attached page for complete details". I just updated that page and emailed it back to them as a PDF file and told them to put it back into my wife's file. Hope this will be the end of it. I am ordering the CAIPS notes to find out exactly what they are up to.

Hi everyone,

First off I would like to congratulate Zagalo, mosh951, mariatorrance, melouttamegacity, Editsniper, kaloka, juncess, kmwm, vengat83, rajneet and mmg777 on the PPRs I see more and more coming through. Secondly I would like to apologise for my absence from the forum. I've been busy with my new position at work and getting the family settled in. I pray and wish all of you are doing well and your process are coming through ok. I will try my best to come back and check for any new updates. God bless you all.

When your filling out any paper in Canada and they are asking for information of your history they always want it to start Recent to Past, it's the same way when you do resumes it is always most recent job to past job
