Hi,

Just an update my husband in Canada received my passport request from CEM today, I'm glad i have it now it's
just surprising that it was sent there instead to my address here in the Philippines maybe because I made
him my representative that's why his address was the one used by CEM. I will have the scanned copy
by tomorrow hence I can share the exact date of PPR request.

Dont worry, I received mine after two weeks. The letter was dated Jan 4 however post office in our province just got it last Jan 16 and delivered it jan 19..Darating din un..

may na hire kami na representative from canada....saan kaya nila mail ang PPR ko? sa akin ba o dun sa representative namin sa canada? sayo, may representative ba kayo na hire? hehehe.

application/approval for sponsorship, and application for permanent residence are 2 different things. The former refers to the sponsor, while the latter refers to the spouse/partner/dependents who are applying for permanent residence.

there can be no application for PR unless there is approval for sponsorship.
