Are you sure? Because I have received an invitation so I will be disqualified.

There's no point of disqualification. Your individual value has not decreased as in cases such as "increase in age or decrease in funds".

And this question is asked post-ITA only. Let me check my application once and get back.

Hi, I really need you help with another issue that just came up. I am completing my application but now I remembered that when I was 10 years old, now I am 35, my father changed our surname. Should I have declared it in the express entry profile? I do not remember if there was any field.

If you were 10 you probably wouldn't have that name on any official documents, except birth certificate maybe?

No need to mention if you don't have that name on any official documents, but if you do then do explain it.

Yes, I just checked my application. It's in the first section of the application. You must show the name you held before.

I have just got my birth certificate but does not say anything about my first surname.

In the application or Express Entry? I havent mentioned it in my express entry profile

Exactly as @hirasalam mentioned. If any essential document ever had the other name, you better mention it in the application as well.

Doesn't matter, there is a question about using any other names in eAPR you can always declare that... it's not misrepresentation if you are declaring..and it doesn't affect your CRS score so don't worry about mismatching your EE profile..

Roshan, you submitted your application buddy?
Nope, got my SAUDI PCC today.

Uploaded all docs except PCC. So, hopefully will be submitting tomorrow.
Do you suggest making the full payment(cad 1040) upfront?

Yes, I would advise paying in full. I didn't do it and I strongly feel it will delay processing and regretting it now.

That's a feeling I have. Thanks for the advise. Also I'm amazed you guys wrote LOEs of 15-20 pages. I feel I have absolutely nothing to write but now looking at the LOE you guys submitted I feel obliged to jot something down atleast.

In my birth certificate I have my current surname

You only need to mention the other name(s) YOU held. And if it's not on paper anywhere then don't worry about this issue.
