October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

Guys - If I may request to keep this forum informative and not a place to rant against system.

We are all in the same boat. If we are complaining about system not being fair, why are we even applying for citizenship. If we do not believe in the system, we do not believe in the country. Is the system fair anywhere in this world? System is only fair in the "heaven". Try getting immigration in USA and tell me how fair the system is there with wait for GC is truly eternity. We tend NOT value things, when we see it coming easily.

It is very sad to see comments like these that put things down just because we are NOT capable of having patience. It seems everyone wants their citizenship in 10 days.

Please live your life and citizenship will come. Having lived in multiple countries, I can share from my experience, this is the best country and my excitement for the citizenship is not defined by how many months they take to process my application.

We believe in this country and we are excited about the upcoming citizenship ! Somebody getting citizenship before me or after me, does not make anybody good or bad. If it bothers you, it is called "entitlement".

Having said that, those who want to now rant against me are most welcome. I am not going to read the response anyway. ;)

Hey guys, I wrote and passed my test in May and in August my ecase status was changed to "DM". Today when i checked the status it is back to "In process" now. Anyone has any idea what's going on here? From "DM" to "In process" seems bit strange. Also i am into month 4 since i passed my test. Really frustrated with this.

My application was received Oct. 16, 2017.

Hey Guys, trying to figure out what documents I need to carry to my test/interview? One of the instructions to the test invite states:

" all your original documents that support your citizenship application (as listed in the document checklist in the citizenship application form)"

Not sure what I can take with me beyond passports, IDs, etc...?
