Can anyone confirm DM means everything including background check is done? I am asking because during my interview the officer told me my background check is still ongoing but I got DM 2 days after interview. Thanks in advance.

Correct. See this post.

It's likely that your background check was done in 2 days. Or maybe, it was almost completed by the time you took your test.

Just called IRCC call center. The agent did confirm that all the check marks are in place and the next logical step is "oath invite". But they also mentioned that they don't have any information on when the oath will be held.

Looks like Vancouver is sleeping!

I’m a October applicant last October 16, 2017 and received October 19,2017. I received my AOR November 18, and In process last January 24,2018 since then no info regarding my application. No test invite or FP. I tried to call the cic but unlucky..
What do you mean by "unlucky"?

Good morning, I've got my oath ceremony scheduled for the 1st week of June. However, that was an invite to myself. According to the CIC agent that they have combined my citizenship application file to my spouse file, for a family application. For that reason, I was asked to wait for my wife to complete her test prior to the oath to be scheduled. Now, I only see 2 scenarios happening here:
1. They've already split our files into 2 individual single applicants, and I no longer need to wait for my wife to complete the test, knowing that my wife has filed her application in late December and mine was sent on October.
2. If my wife passed the test on May 30th, assuming this is a family application, she might be invited to join me to take the oath ceremony on June 06.
I love to see option 2 happening, but I don't know if that's what will happen.

Why does IRCC not allow you to stay in the queue when you call them? They just say all of the reps are busy and hang up! What the hell!!

You gotta keep trying. That's their standard response when they are busy.

I tried at least 6-8 times before I got "lucky" to be in queue for 40 minutes! Haha!

Wow! So frustrating and unacceptable! I didnt know it was a "lottery" to get in the queue... lol

Actually I did my test March 28th in Hamilton. I was not given any paper that relates to prohibition to sign on that day.
Anyone else took the test in Hamilton can confirm having signed this paper on the test day or not?
I just checked my wife's Oath invitation email and the "Prohibitions under the citizenship ACT" form is part of it, no need to worry imo :)
